Pricing and Payment Structure
We work on a quote-on-enquiry basis subject to our Terms and Conditions. Below is an overview of our quoting, pricing, and payment structure:
Fixed Price Work
- Fixed Price: Work will be charged as a fixed cost inclusive of labour and materials.
- Quote Validity: The quote remains valid for 30 days.
- Acceptance: The proposal must be accepted by the customer in its entirety without modification.
- Acceptance of Proposal and Terms: By placing an order within the specified period, the customer acknowledges and accepts the proposal, thereby agreeing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
- Order Acceptance: An order is accepted once a deposit is paid in full. The deposit is typically 50% of the total work cost, unless agreed otherwise.
- Right to Refuse: We reserve the right to refuse or decline any work.
- Revisions to Fixed Price: We may revise the fixed price in certain circumstances, such as increases in material costs, additional work requested by the customer, or errors in the initial estimate.
Hourly Priced Work
Charges and Rates
- Labour Costs: Our current hourly rate is £80 per hour, with an additional charge of £35 for every subsequent 30 minutes.
- Parts and Materials: Any parts and materials supplied by us will be billed at trade price plus a 20% handling charge.
- Additional Costs: The hourly rate does not include parking costs or congestion charges.
Billing and Minimum Charges
- Total Charge: You will be billed for the total time our representative spends on the job, including both full and partial hours, with a minimum charge of 1 hour. This includes up to 45 minutes for obtaining materials, but excludes breaks such as lunch.
Diagnostic and Replacement Costs
- Diagnostic Process: If our diagnostic process identifies a fault and requires a replacement, you will be responsible for the cost of the replacement, even if the fault was related to a different issue.
